INTERNATIONAL TOUR: BEST TIME TO VISIT SINGAPORE

Singapore is a year-round destination, but the ideal months to visit are March through August. You'll have the least amount of rain, low humidity, and a nice temperature. Singapore has become known as a year-round tourism destination due to its relatively consistent tropical environment and lack of dramatic weather patterns. However, this does not mean that there is no longer an optimal time to visit. Unfortunately, you won't be able to avoid the heat (Singapore averages temperatures of around 26°C-30°C all year) or the humidity (levels never fall below 80%), but the months of March through August are less likely to see extended periods of rainfall, making it the best time to visit this sprawling, urban metropolis.

Winter in Singapore

Winter in Singapore occurs during the monsoon season, so expect sudden tropical downpours and unpredictable weather. Despite this, winter is still a great season to visit Singapore because the temperatures remain high, ranging from 30°C to 32°C. However, there is a significant risk of fog, so if you want to see the city skyline, don't take the Singapore Flyer or stand at the edge of Marina Bay dunes until later in the afternoon. Winter is the best season to visit Singapore's world-class shopping districts, with Orchard Road being a great area to spend a few hours. However, the humidity caused by Singapore's high temperatures may cause you to want to cool off, so it is a fantastic time to visit Sentosa Island's beaches.

Spring in Singapore

Singapore starts shining again in the spring, with rainfall being less frequent as the season grows, making it one of the best times to see the country's lush greenery and sparkling gardens. More than half of April's days are foggy, but this clears up by the afternoon. Temperatures have dropped slightly, with averages about 27°C, making long amounts of time outside more comfortable and bearable. For this reason, wandering around the gorgeous nature park that is Gardens by the Bay, admiring the world's most intriguing creatures at the Singapore Zoo, and clubbing it up in Clarke Quay after the sun goes down are among the greatest things to do in spring.

Summer in Singapore

Summer is considered the peak season, with visitors from all over the world travelling to Singapore to experience the most of what it has to offer. The weather is a major factor in compelling people to visit this magnificent region, as summer is the driest month, with rainfall and thunderstorms incredibly unusual. However, while the rain has ceased, the temperatures are still high (between 30°C and 34°C), so if you plan on spending time outside, make sure you are sun protected.

Autumn in Singapore

Autumn in Singapore brings back the rain, especially in the later months of the season, and with a heavier downpour comes greater humidity levels, which some tourists may find unpleasant. Foggy mornings return, but they usually clear out later in the afternoon, with temperatures keeping stable at 30°C or higher.

However, there are still plenty of fun things to do in autumn, with one of the country's greatest events taking place in September: the Formula One Singapore Grand Prix. During this time, racing fans flood the city, creating a captivating atmosphere around Marina Bay's circuit.

Another advantage of visiting Singapore in September (after the Grand Prix), October, or November is that there are fewer tourists, resulting in fewer crowds at popular attractions and lower hotel fees.
